Inaugural Edition of The WIU Alumni Magazine
It's finally here! After months of planning, interviewing, photo sessions, researching and editing, the inaugural edition of "The Webber Alumni Magazine" has come to life.
Webber Alumni are an impressive group of people, with rich history and great traditions; we have stories that need to be shared, friendships that need to be rekindled, and new and fascinating changes at WIU that need to be discovered. Inside the pages of our new magazine you will recognize some familiar faces, read about old friends, and be introduced to the newest generation of Warriors.

WELCOME!
The Alumni Relations Office supports the mission of Webber International University and is a resource for WIU news, activities and programs. Through alumni events and reunions, volunteerism, communications and a variety of services and benefits, it reconnects alumni with their alma mater and with each other. We encourage and provide opportunities for alumni to engage, support and advance our alma matter, WIU!
Greetings!
On behalf of the Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Relations at Webber International University, I want to say "welcome home." As an alumnus of WIU, I want you to know that it is an honor to be working for you, my fellow alums. Over the course of the past 26 years, I have been a student, an athlete, a head coach, a faculty member and administrator, and WIU’s most passionate advocate. These aspects coupled with a unique vision and strong leadership capabilities have prepared me to re-energize, re-organize, and re-connect our Alumni across the globe.
My hope is to engage, educate, and reconnect alumni to WIU. As an association, we are working to enhance and advance the reputation of our institution for you and future graduates who will join the ranks of the nearly 10,000 alumni of Webber. We aim to instill pride and tradition among current and future alumni, and our local community, by providing comprehensive and integrated services for alumni to participate in university life and stay connected with each other. Our programs, events, and services are designed to encourage you to stay connected to your alma mater.
Many initiatives are in the works which will get alumni re-involved with the WIU community in the near future. I aim to instill pride and tradition among current and future alumni, WIU, and our local community, by providing comprehensive and integrated services for alumni to participate in university life and stay connected with each other. Anytime throughout the year, you are invited to stop in and see us at the Alumni Relations Office located in Old main, your home when you are on campus.
In order to do this, I am asking for updated information for our Alumni database. At your convenience, please click on the “Update Contact information” (COMING SOON) link on the alumni website. In the mean time, if you have any suggestions or would just like to catch up, please contact me, either via Facebook, e-mail, or call 863-638-2918.
With your help, suggestions and involvement, we will build the WIU alumni Association into a premier organization that we can all be proud of.
Yours for WIU,
Steve “Coach” Warner
