Janet L. Farmer
Financial Aid Counselor
Contact Janet Farmer

Janet Farmer, Financial Aid Counselor and Work Study Coordinator, feels that her job has been a very rewarding experience. Ms. Farmer was brand new to the field of Financial Aid when she joined WIU in November 2006. While there is much to learn and new challenges arise each day, her favorite part of her job is getting to know the students. She understands the beauty of being part of a smaller school – having the ability to interact and keep in touch with students. Ms. Farmer encourages them to study hard and stay the course because she feels life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.
