Veteran's Education Benefits
Webber International University is approved by the State of Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs for the training of Veterans and Servicemen/women on active duty. Students who may be eligible for veteran’s benefits are urged to contact the Financial Aid Office at Webber or the U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs in St. Petersburg at 1-800-827-1000.
Veterans Affairs Educational Benefits provide eligible servicemen/women and eligible dependents with an opportunity for higher education.
The certifying official in the Financial Aid/Registrar Office will certify a Veteran Education benefit recipient, once proof of eligibility has been presented and the student is registered for classes.
A veteran or veteran’s dependent may contact the certifying official in the Financial Aid/Registrar Office at 863-638-2930 for benefit application information.
Once a student is certified and has begun attendance, the student is responsible for reporting to the Veterans Administration continued eligibility for the semester. The certifying official will report any change of enrollment to the Veterans Administration.
