The annual “Needs Assessment Survey” and annual Planning Day are used to identify strengths and weaknesses of the institution. Faculty, staff and students are surveyed annually and the input gathered is reviewed and discussed at the annual Planning Day in the spring. The results of that meeting are brought to the President’s Leadership Committee for review and incorporation into the strategic plan, either in the yearly cycle or the long range plan. Part of the needs assessment is recognition of external influences on the university and a need for improvement in educational opportunities and student learning. Action plans are developed that will make use of the input gathered.

The University has a Planning Day each spring which is used for feedback, evaluation and progress. This has been the tool used for improvement the most recent years. Although planning is an ongoing event, the annual planning day is a formal event whereby the entire campus is brought together, strategic ideas presented, explored, and discussed. Many strategic changes to Webber International University have had their genesis in the annual planning day.

Below are results of the most recent Planning Days. In addition, a link to the Needs Assessment Survey Suggestion Forms is provided. Please submit your suggestions using this link. The suggestions provided will be considered during Webber’s next scheduled Planning Day.
