APPLICATION DEADLINES
For Fall acceptance, students must submit applications by August 1. Applications received between August 2 - 20 will be required to pay a $200 late fee. For Spring acceptance, applications must be submitted by December 1. And applications for Summer acceptance must be submitted by April 1.
Applicants are notified of their status within 3 weeks of completion of the application. Available seats are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Items to be submitted:
-WIU Admissions Application -$35 Non-Refundable Application Fee -Official High School Transcript or GED Results -Official SAT I and/or ACT scores
If you do not meet our regular requirements for admissions, a completed Academic Recommendation will be requested .
Students who were dual enrolled should submit an official transcript from the college or university where credit was earned in order to be considered for transfer credit at WIU.
ACCEPTANCE STANDARDS
You should fit one of these categories:
Category I - -Standard High School Diploma -GPA 2.0 or better -*SAT 870 or ACT 18 or better
Category II - -Standard High School Diploma - Academic GPA of 2.75 or better with a minimum of 15 academic courses
Category III - -GED with High School Transcript -*SAT 870 or ACT 18 or better
Category IV - -Standard High School Diploma -*SAT 1000 or ACT 22 or better
*SAT score will be computed based on the Math and Critical Reading sections only.
ACT/SAT Score Policy
If there are testing irregularities or a significant difference (between sittings) in a student’s official SAT or ACT scores, Webber International University’s policy is to request confirmation from the official testing center that the student’s score is valid. Until confirmation is received, the student’s score will not be taken into consideration for acceptance or scholarship purposes.
