Welcome

Webber has always been a special place. We do not try to be everything to everyone. For over eighty years, we’ve been doing only one thing: equipping students with the tools that they need to be immediately effective as managers, administrators, professionals, and leaders in their chosen professions. We are strictly business, and we are very good at it.

We are proud of what we do here. We are also proud of the fact that we do things a little differently here. Our small size allows close interaction between professors and students. Our professors are approachable and genuinely interested in your success. Our ties to the business community assure an education which is timely and relevant, so that our graduates can be immediately productive – and therefore successful – upon graduation. We do not have huge lecture halls. We do not have graduate students teaching other students. We have real live professors with impeccable academic credentials, ample publications to their credit, and experience that only comes from having “been there and done that.” They are not just teaching from the books, but also from real life experience.

The resources are there for you; please do not be afraid to avail yourself to them. Our professors are happy to talk to you outside of class… whether it’s something you did not understand from class or tips on how to jump start your career. Our Library is open late at night and its vast collection of on-line resources is available 24/7. If you need a bit of extra help, our PASS Center has tutors who are happy to assist you. Our Academic Planner is glad to help keep you on track towards graduation (and even help you change course if you decide your intended major just is not for you). Our Career Services office has many resources to assist you (and don’t wait until you’re a senior to drop by… early planning will make your career search that much easier!)

While I serve Webber International University in a number of capacities – Executive Vice President, Accreditation Liaison, and Associate Professor of Marketing – none of these positions is more important than Chief Academic Officer.
