It's a great way to explore career fields, expand your network of professional contacts
and learn about internship and job opportunites.

What should I wear?

Professional dress is expected from all Career Fair attendees. Jeans, athletic wear, or
club attire are not appropriate. If unsure, then dress conservatively.

How should I prepare for a Career Fair?

◊ Review, update, and make copies of your resume. Stop by Career Services if
you need help developing your resume or for proofreading.
◊ Practice your introduction!! Be ready to offer an employer a strong hand-
shake and be ready to discuss your major, experience, and qualifications.
◊ Research the companies that will be attending. Find out about the products
and services they offer or provide. Are there any positions/internships
available? What is the company's mission statement?
◊ Ask for business cards. This will allow you to follow-up with each employer
and maintain that contact in your network. NETWORKING is key!!
