First Day of Every Term

By now, you should be enrolled into the Moodle course section, have read and studied the syllabus, and have purchased the textbook.

Follow the instructions on the syllabus (or Moodle) and complete the assignments. Most courses have an initial assignment that you must complete during the first day or two of the term. Completing this assignment is an indication of initial attendance and participation in the course.

Whenever you have a question or need more assistance, contact your instructor.

The online tools on the
PASS Center web site may provide help in developing basic skills in mathematics, English, Office software, Internet research, writing an APA style report, etc.

If the course involves Internet research and/or a formal report, you will need to use the online research databases. If you do not already have a list of these available online research database services, contact Ms. Sue Dunning (
DunningCS@webber.edu) for the list. The list contains the URL and the codes to use these services. Some of the services, such as LexisNexis, will require you to remote access into the Webber network system.

Continue to check your Webber.edu email regularly for messages from your instructors. Check for new messages on Moodle.
