Check your Webber.edu email regularly.

If you have not received a copy of your registration, contact the Registrar (
Registrar@Webber.edu).

The instructor in each of your courses should contact you (via email) with the following information:

• Welcome statement to the class.
• PDF copy of the syllabus or a link to an online syllabus. Some instructors may post the syllabus in the Moodle course. Read and study the syllabus. Become familiar with what is expected of you in the course. Many courses will include a Moodle quiz over basic policies stated in the syllabus.
• Enrollment key to the Moodle class section
• Initial instructions – especially an activity to show initial attendance and participation in the class.

If the instructor does not contact you within a day or so, contact the instructor. The name of the instructor for each course is found on your copy of the registration.

Log into Moodle (
http://www.wiuworld.org) and enroll into each online course. If you do not receive a message from an instructor, contact Moodle Administrator (Moodle@webber.edu) and ask to be placed into the Moodle course or request the enrollment key for the course.

Purchase the textbook for the course. The textbook is listed on the syllabus. You may purchase the textbook through the Webber bookstore (
http://www.bkstr.com) or search the Internet for a better price. The syllabus should include the ISBN number of the textbook. To mail the textbook to you may take a week; purchase it at least one week prior to the start of the term.

One method of becoming successful as an online student is to keep yourself at least one week ahead of schedule. Begin the first week’s assignments.
